The Golden Ticket, a play by James Tiffoney, was performed at the Shed in Glasgow for two night. The show was a massive success and sold out both nights.

Directed by Stuart Mclachlan (Stuart Hazell) the show was a comedic triumph and is set to be performed again in the near future.

A single location two part comedy stage play the golden ticket was originally written as a short story. Based in the

Mid Western United States., all the locations, circumstances and characters are real and took place in 1996.

PART 1.

Eating within a North American Mid Western all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant, Scot’s Jimmy, Stu & Irishman Pat observe their fellow diners with a critical eye guided by table boy Jim Morrison.

The lads are then reluctantly joined by newly married Englishman Percy Singer whom informs them of the sad news that his new wife has left him for another woman, but worse than this she has run off with his car, his baseball cards and his irreplaceable beanie baby collection... It’s then that one of the diners collapses with a heart attack.

PART 2.

Cleaning the chocolate cake from his face and pronouncing him dead, the paramedics are quickly persuaded by a

golden ticket that a mistake has been made and the recently deceased diner has miraculously been revived to cheers from all the restaurants customers except the sceptical Pat, Stu and Jimmy.
